As nomeações para os Video Music Awards 2012 está com a liderança da RiRi, com  5 nomeações, 11 indicações no total.

Rihanna foi nomeada na categoria Vídeo do Ano por seu sucesso mundial "We Found Love". Pelas suas colaborações ela também está concorrendo com "Take Care" de Drake. Ela também está incluída nas categorias de Melhor Vídeo Feminino, Melhor Coreografia, Melhor Efeitos Visuais e Melhor Vídeo Pop.
